An original sixties concert programme for the Creedence Clearwater Revival and Deep Purple performances at the Fillmore East, New York. Deep Purple were the opening act. The groups performed on the 20th and 21st December 1968. Accompanied by two ticket stubs for performances on the 21st December at 8:00PM number E115 and 11:30PM number UU8.Provenance: the item initially comes from the collection of Jacaeber Kastor the previous owner of Psychedelic Solution Gallery in New York’s West Village. Kastor was believed to have a complete collection of Fillmore East programmes and other concert items. After the closure of Kastor’s gallery in 2004 the item was brokered by Erik King to the private art collection of Jim Pallotta.The programme measures 14.2cm x 21.7cm (5.59 inches x 8.5 inches). It has a few very small creases on the spine and corner. The condition is very good plus. The larger white ticket stub measures 4.4cm x 3.7cm (1.7 inches x 1.45 inches). The green ticket has a glue stain and small peel on the reverse. Both tickets have an uneven edge where torn and small creases. The condition is very good.
