An original sixties concert poster for The Kinks and Spirit performance at the East Fillmore, New Rork. Spirit was the opening act. The groups performed on the 17th and 18th October 1969. The programme is accompanied by a ticket stub for the 18th October numbered A14.Provenance: the item initially comes from the collection of Jacaeber Kastor the previous owner of Psychedelic Solution Gallery in New York’s West Village. Kastor was believed to have a complete collection of Fillmore East programmes and other concert items. After the closure of Kastor’s gallery in 2004 the item was brokered by Erik King to the private art collection of Jim Pallotta.The programme measures 14.2cm x 21.7cm (5.59 inches x 8.5 inches). It has small marks and corners on the spine. The condition is very good plus. The ticket stub measures 5.1cm x 3.8cm (2 inches x 1.49 inches). It has an uneven edge where torn and creases on the corner. The condition is very good.
