B49008 – The Who Fillmore East 1969 Concert Programme And Ticket Stub (USA)

An original sixties concert programme for The Who performances at the Fillmore East, New York. Sweetwater was the opening act. The groups performed on the 16th and 17th May 1969. The programme is accompanied by a ticket stub for the 16th May numbered J110.Provenance: the item initially comes from the collection of Jacaeber Kastor the previous owner of Psychedelic Solution Gallery in New York’s West Village. Kastor was believed to have a complete collection of Fillmore East programmes and other concert items. After the closure of Kastor’s gallery in 2004 the item was brokered by Erik King to the private art collection of Jim Pallotta.The programme measures 14.2cm x 21.7cm (5.59 inches x 8.5 inches). It has a few small marks on the spine. The condition is excellent. The ticket stub measures 4.5cm x 3.8cm (1.7 inches x 1.49 inches). It has an uneven edge where torn and a few small creases. The condition is very good.
