The new Fronius Datamanager 2.0 generation of monitoring hardware connects the inverter to the Internet either by Ethernet or Wireless Local Area Network and sends PV performance data directly to the Fronius Solar.web online portal. The Fronius Datamanager 2.0 features its own dedicated website for managing system and monitoring configurations. An exciting new feature is the mobile app commissioning wizard, which speeds up installation: you can now set up system monitoring using your smart phone or tablet! In addition, the integrated SunSpec Modbus RTU, SunSpec Modbus TCP and Fronius Solar API interfaces enable Fronius inverters to be integrated into third-party systems, but still run in parallel with Fronius Solar.web. This version of the Datamanager mounts directly inside a Primo, Symo, or Galvo inverter. It adds Web monitoring to any Fronius ‘Lite’ inverter. Only one Datamanager card is needed for every 100 inverters to monitor all of them. Inverters are daisy-chained together with RJ45 / CAT5 cables. Monitoring is free on Fronius’ Solar.web portal with the purchase of the Datamanager hardware.
