A 3 page call sheet for the video shoot held for The Rolling Stones single ‘One Hit (To The Body)’ that took place at Elstree Studios, Borehamwood on 1st May 1986. The call sheet has been signed on the front by Mick Jagger, Keith Richard and Charlie Watts. Mick has added ‘to Bob Thanks’ before his name. Keith has added ‘To Bob Thanks & get some sleep’ above his name and Charlie has added ‘To Bob thank you’ above his name. Accompanied by a piece of card signed by Ronnie Wood in black felt tipped pen and a piece of card signed by Bill Wyman in black ballpoint pen. These two autographs were signed at a later date than those on the call sheet.‘One Hit (To the Body)’ is the opening track on 1986 The Rolling Stones album ‘Dirty Work’, the recording was released as the second single from the album on 9th May 1986 in the USA and on 19th May 1986 in the UK. It was the first Rolling Stones single to feature a Ronnie Wood co-writing credit with Jagger and Richards.The video was directed by Russell Mulcahy and features the Stones in a large warehouse setting. The song’s title is portrayed almost literally, both Jagger and Richards are seen trading mock blows while archive footage of actual boxing matches is cut into the video.Provenance: accompanied by a letter from the wife of the original recipient that reads ‘The 3 autographs of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Charlie Watts on the Call Sheet for One Hit (To The Body) dated 1st May 1986 were dedicated to my late husband Robert Jones (Bob) when he worked with them on the shoot. He was an electrician (Sparks) with Pennie Lighting at that time under Graham Miller (Gaffer).’The two pieces of card each measure 14cm x 9cm (5.5 inches x 3.5 inches). The condition is near mint. The call sheet measures 21cm x 29.5cm (8.25 inches x 11.6 inches). It has been previously folded. The condition is very good.
