An original sixties promotional poster for the Parisian L’Express newspaper featuring an image of The Beatles. It promotes the issue of the newspaper being on sale during the week of 21st – 27th June 1965. The Beatles began their European tour in June 1965, performing two shows at the Palais Des Sports, Paris on the 20th June.The poster measures 47cm x 72cm (18.5 inches x 28.3 inches). It is worn with creases across the surface and glue, tape and paper residue on the reverse. There is a 13cm (5.1 inch) tear running down from the top edge, small creases and tears around the other edges and pin holes in the corners. The condition is good.
